A Tiksky is a short vertical video, up to three minutes. Tikskys come from accounts on tiksky.social and from video posts by anyone on Bluesky's network. Text and photo posts live in The Commons.

Either works, and you see the same network. Join tiksky.social for a handle like you.tiksky.social, with your account hosted by Tiksky. If you already have a Bluesky account, sign in with it and keep your followers; your account stays where it is. Both can follow each other.

While tiksky.social is new, joining it may need an invite code. If the app asks for one, email us. Signing in with an existing Bluesky account never needs a code. You can also tap “Look around first” to watch without an account.

iPhone and iPad with iOS 27 or iPadOS 27, and Mac with macOS 27. Apple Intelligence features need a device with Apple Intelligence turned on; on other devices, Tiksky uses simpler rules for the feed and everything else works.

• Drag the progress bar to scrub; swipe left to see the creator's profile.
• On iPad and Mac: Space pauses, ↑ and ↓ move between Tikskys, L likes, M mutes.

Tiksky plays sound even when your iPhone is on silent. Check the volume buttons and that Tikskys aren't muted (tap ••• and choose Unmute, or press M on a keyboard). Some videos were recorded without sound.

Apple Intelligence on your device reads what's new and ranks it, putting thoughtful posts first and letting engagement bait sink. Open Your Algorithm to turn the dials for calm, freshness, people you follow and Tikskys, hide topics, mute words, or ask for a feed in your own words. Nothing about your viewing is sent to us to do this.

Tap Tiksky at the top of Tikskys, or the “Tiksky only” filter in Discover. It shows videos from tiksky.social accounts and videos made with Tiksky by anyone on the network.

Tap Create to open Tiksky Studio. Record one or more clips (with a timer, flip and flash), or upload from Photos or Files. Trim and reorder, change speed, add text, pick a cover and add captions, then write your caption and post. Videos can be up to three minutes and 250 MB.

Tap “Make Captions from Speech” in Studio. Your device listens to the video's sound and writes captions on the device. Burn them into the picture, or post them as subtitles that every Bluesky app can show.

Large videos take a while on slower connections; keep Tiksky open until posting finishes. If it fails, check you're under three minutes and 250 MB, then try again on Wi-Fi. If it keeps failing, email us the time and what the screen said.

Not in this version. Tikskys keep the sound they were recorded with. Only post audio you have the right to share.

Emails come from no-reply@tiksky.social. Because tiksky.social runs its own mail server, they often land in spam or junk, so check there first and mark the email “not spam”. Still nothing after a few minutes? Email us from the address on your account.

In Tiksky, go to Settings › Notifications and choose likes, replies, mentions, quotes, reposts and follows. You can also turn them off in iOS or macOS Settings.

Settings › Account › Delete Account. For tiksky.social accounts, we'll email a confirmation code, then delete your account, posts and media from tiksky.social. Other services on the open network may keep copies they already received. If you signed in with Bluesky, this removes Tiksky's access; your Bluesky account is deleted from Bluesky's settings.

Tap ••• on any Tiksky, post, comment or profile and choose Report, Block or Mute. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Blocking stops someone from seeing or interacting with you; muting just hides them from you.

Everyone agrees to short rules before posting, new posts on tiksky.social are checked automatically for scams, phishing and malware, and reports are reviewed by a person. Read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for the details.
